Can I just have fun while I am young and then get saved later?
"Later" is a risky gamble. Many things could happen throughout the day that would guarantee that you will have no "later." Your eternal destiny is far too important to risk. The words that John the Baptist spoke are still true, "Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is near." And you must be careful because the Bible warns, "A man who remains stiff-necked after many rebukes will suddenly be destroyed-without remedy" (Prov. 29:1).
Why do you think that being a Christian means that you don't get to have fun? What is it about your life right now that is so important, so fun, that not only could you not live without it, but you would also risk your eternal life for it? Seriously examine your life and find the things that you would likely have to give up in order to follow Christ. I challenge you to take those issues to the Lord in prayer. Ask Him to help you to have the proper perspective on sin and to give you the strength you need to turn
from sin and turn towards Him.
